Sacramento District Family-
James 4 reminds us to draw near to God and He will draw near to us. Over the past several months we have been doing our best as a district to seek Him in the area of our district leadership and we trust that He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers.
Currently the process committee of the District Advisory Council is putting together its presentation for The Reunion which, as you know, is the District Assembly for the Sacramento District Church of the Nazarene coming up April 25-27. They are preparing to fully explain to you the process that has been used to put together the ballot for our assembly and why that process has been followed. And, if the Assembly receives the report, we will also present the ballot that the DAC has unanimously agreed on after months of discernment and the faithful prayers of the people.
Please continue to lift the Process Committee in prayer as they prepare. Pray for wisdom for our district delegates and for our current District Superintendent, Rev. Steve Scott as he seeks the Lord's direction and transitions to the next chapter of ministry in his life.
Remember our help comes from the Lord as we, together, lift our eyes to Him. We trust He has led this process thus far and He will lead us in the days to come!
