Dear Friends & Family of the Sacramento District Church of the Nazarene,

I hope that as we enter the season of Thanks in the coming days, that you will be able to embrace a spirit of gratitude for God

's faithfulness in your life, for whatever season you are experiencing. He is the most consistent, loving presence we could ever hope for - every day of our lives. Thanks be to God!

As recently announced, I will be concluding my service as the Sacramento District Superintendent, thirty days after The Reunion of 2024, which will take place at Auburn Parkside Church, April 25-27. I am deeply grateful to have served for five terms, and while I could be eligible for one more term (at age 69 next spring), I am very much at peace working toward welcoming a new D.S. for our District. As always, there will be plenty

to do in the next seven months, and I look forward to serving with you in fulfilling the mission of our church.

When my role as D.S. concludes, Debbie and I will continue to live in Stockton in the same community as our two sons. I am enjoying an ongoing conversation with God, by simply asking Him, "What's next?" I'll keep you updated, and would really appreciate your prayer support as God continues to reveal His plan for my life, and for this wonderful community we call the Sacramento District Church of the Nazarene.

Bless you,

Steve Scott
