LETTER FROM THE DISTRICT ADVISORY COUNCIL
Sacramento District Church Family-
“I lift up my eyes to the mountains. where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2
Today we are praising the Lord, grateful for the prayers of God’s people. After months of prayer and research, the DAC (District Advisory Council) met with Dr. Stan Reeder, the USA/Canada Regional Director, and Dr. Christian Sarmiento, our General Superintendent, has interviewed 3 qualified and extremely gifted candidates for District Superintendent. From those candidates a ballot will be put together for The Reunion, April 25th, 26th, and 27th. Just as a reminder, there will still be the option to write in any eligible candidates as well.
We truly believe God has been leading and blessing this process. We ask that you continue to pray in your worship services, small groups and private prayer times. In the coming days the process committee will be putting together the presentations for the assembly so we can make the best selection possible. We trust that God’s words to Jacob and the Israelites are true for us today as well when He said in Isaiah 41:13, “I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you.”
